For me, this journey mostly began in the late 60s, Huntington Beach, when I saw the variety within the Hippie Movement. I was young, though saw how the struggle for broader views were being squelched. As years turned to decades, I became more upset about how those who created the new ‘In God We Trust’ motto for the U.S. from ‘E Pluribus Unum’ were continuing to press limited views.
I always felt there were not enough views allowed and worked to broaden views; even writing about wide-spectrum lifeways and social relations. I’ve wanted more than three political parties and continue to strive for them. My wife and I even voted for Ross Perot in 1992. My wife and I were leaning towards Libertarians back then, though soon realized that states, regions, companies and peoples needed strong regulations, or they act selfishly, placing their own social views on all peoples, even damaging wilderness and environment for their own gains at the expense of others.
In the last few years, pressures from the two, primary, bickering parties became worst during, and after, the 45th Presidential Administration. Such trends must be stopped and reversed, and neither of the primary two parties have ever shown true desire to repair damages.
I have high hopes for more views and the future, even well beyond just a ‘third’ party.’
That is a bit of this journey that got me here; and I continue to strive for more views that will broaden the lifeways of people. In that journey, I’m incline to add ‘Forwardist’ to the many titles I use — title like Federalist, Globalist, Conservationist, Arinorin, Naturalist, and so on.
