From my psychology training, it is obvious Donald Trump is extremely Narcissistic Personality Disorder, plus time has shown he is simply evil, dangerous, and a constant liar. To me, it’s not about party but about a person with zero goodness, whom most of GOP kiss ass because of their own ambition and lack of integrity.
Though Independent, we usually vote Democrat, but when President Biden could not really “hear” an African American delegation early in term on what voting rights means to them and put that front and center, he lost my respect - I am white; Ethan Allen is my ancestor who with Vermont’s Green Mountain Boys, took British Fort Ticonderoga in the Revolutionary War; Ethan Allen was only 4 generations removed from England - Of course, whites have always voted (no big deal) but that is NOT true for African Americans, and it SHOULD BE. Biden selfishly put himself, his assumptions of how Congress “should work,” and his own agenda ahead of PEOPLE-American people. That is WRONG in my book.
Then Biden’s exit from Afghanistan was the WORSE, MOST STUPID process possible. I myself (along with others) could have done a thousand times better, shown respect to our allies, gotten out Afghans who aided our military, and brought home those billion dollars of equipment that could have gone to Ukraine, rather than wasted on Taliban. Plus, I observe Biden having zero, absolutely zero, psychological awareness from which to objectively assess his own performance.
My husband and I decided right then that we will NEVER again vote for Biden. We will write in our deceased golden retriever’s name first.
To top it off, DCCC simply hounds, bullies, harasses, badgers, and torments anyone who gives anything to DNC. On a Sunday morning, it was “Trump has a million dollars in his campaign.Therefore, WE (Dems) HAVE TO HAVE a million dollars.” Does no one have the capacity to think smarter?
In addition, AZ Mark Kelly Senate campaign at first put out decent emails that got me to donate even though in a different state. But when I got fed up with Democrats humongous, insatiable, constant demand for donations, I felt “to hell with ALL politics” and stopped donating. Then Mark Kelly’s campaign become hysterical: “We’re crying. We’re going to have close our office.” And CNN put out news that Kelly raised 9 MILLION dollars, the most of any DNC politician in that cycle. What a liar! What a huge ego: look at me! I raised the most!
I’m done with liars AND refuse to be bullied anymore. Forward has to have better decency, humanity, and ethics. It HAS to be better because WE ORDINARY PEOPLE WILL MAKE IT BETTER FROM THE BOTTOM UP. We won’t take what those first two parties dish out. WE WILL HAVE THE GUTS TO BE BETTER PEOPLE TO ONE ANOTHER BECAUSE THAT IS HOW AMERICANS SHOULD BE. WE CAN CHOOSE THOSE VALUES. WE CAN CHOOSE TO BE “REAL” AMERICANS, not fake “patriots” following a fake, phony authoritarian narcissus so incompetent he can only think of himself.
My husband and I are in our 70s, have only Social Security, Don’s is in in-home hospice with Stage IV cancer, weighs less than 96 pounds. When ALL I have is facing loss, HOPE is my biggest need. FORWARD can be that hope IF WE EACH dare to risk being genuine Americans for and with one another. Otherwise, we are left with two crappy parties at each other’s throat. No thanks.
