Forward Virginia is excited to announce that Forward Party Founding Co-Chair Andrew Yang will be the special guest for our April statewide meeting.  Andrew Yang's experiences as a businessman, lawyer, philanthropist, and political leader help him bring unique insights and innovative solutions to address the challenges of America's troubled societal and political climate.  Yang will be sharing his vision for the Forward Party and how it can help transform the broken two-party system that is failing America.  We are thankful for his initiative in launching and leading the Forward Party, and we are honored to have him speak with us.

Our "fireside chat" with Andrew Yang will be moderated by our Vice Chairwoman for Communications, best-selling author, and journalist, Sophia A. Nelson.  She opens each of our statewide meetings with a conversation with a special guest who will help to inform, engage, and inspire committee members, public attendees, and volunteers.  We are excited to welcome you to these conversations.

About Andrew Yang

Andrew Yang is a Founding Co-Chair of the Forward Party.  Yang was a 2020 candidate for the Democratic nomination for president of the United States.  Previously, he founded the nonprofit Ventures for America, was CEO of Manhattan Prep test prep company, and launched various startups.  Yang also has authored several books.  He acquired a BA from Brown University studying political science and economics, and he has a JD from Columbia University.  For additional information on Andrew Yang, please visit the Forward Party’s leadership page at https://www.forwardparty.com/leadership/.
