Join Forward NOVA for our regular open meeting. **We are starting 15 mins later than regular this month, to accommodate the Fireside Chat with Christine Todd Whitman - attend both if you can! We will still finish by 9:15pm.**
We have the opportunity to make a stand for democracy and civil engagement in the face of the political chaos coming out of DC. We have a lot of work to do and need your help!
We use this monthly touch base to:
1) Welcome any newcomers - provide a brief Q&A, point them towards resources to learn more, and generally bring them onboard
2) Keep members in the loop - relay any pertinent news from the VA Forward Party or from National and discuss how it affects us
3) Make progress on NOVA Forward's 4 main goals: A) Grow our membership, B) Establish ourselves in the community, C) Recruit candidates and elected officials, and D) Support affiliated candidates' campaigns
