Welcome to the Louisiana Forward Party.

Louisianans on the left, right, and center of the political spectrum all want the same thing: a good place to live. But our politicians represent themselves, their parties, and billion-dollar corporations before We the People. As a result, Louisiana is ranked among the worst states to live in. We don't deserve this.

So what's our solution?

Forward's mission is to put power back into the American people's hands through electoral reform.

New Voting Methods: Imagine knowing your vote will always count. STAR Voting, for example, eliminates vote splitting and the spoiler effect. Approval Voting is cost-effective, simpler, and does the same. New methods encourage more competition and better options on the ballot beyond the two major parties.  You can vote for someone you actually want, not just the lesser evil.

Open and Nonpartisan Primaries give every Louisianan a voice, regardless of party. Elected officials must better represent the broader electorate, not just party insiders.

Independent Redistricting Commissions prevent gerrymandering. By having an independent, nonpartisan commission draw district boundaries, elections become fairer and more competitive. We should choose our politicians, not the other way around.

The Forward Party is not asking you to abandon your principles. We want transparency in government, fair elections, and honest, dedicated politicians. Is that so much to ask? Join us, and together, we can create thriving communities and a vibrant democracy in Louisiana.
