Operation Independent: Primary Day Action Meeting

Are you tired of being told you have to give up your independence just to have a voice in New Jersey’s primaries?

On Primary Day, independents across New Jersey will take action by showing up at polling locations with a simple message:

“I Can’t Vote Today. Ask Me Why.”

This action is about raising awareness of New Jersey’s closed primary system and making sure independent voters are seen, heard, and organized. We will also discuss ways to participate online through Facebook and social media using the same message.

If you cannot make it to the polls, there are still ways to help. Join us to learn how you can get involved, amplify the message, and help build momentum for a more open and representative democracy in New Jersey.
