Purpose: The resource development team is composed of a fundraising coordinator, an event coordinator, a bookkeeper, and writers.  The resource development team is essential in growing Forward Nevada’s operations by working closely with the Treasurer to construct and implement fundraising plans.  

Location:  Remote

Responsibilities and Activities: 

• Develop and implement strategies to fund Forward Nevada’s operational expenses

• Identify sources of support including sponsors, grants, and match programs

• Regularly host fundraising events

• Provide accurate and up-to-date financial information

• Foster a culture of integrity with transparency on how funds are allocated

The Resource Development Team is a great fit for those who: 

• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibit exemplary integrity, are innovate and tenacious in strategy, are data-driven and organized 

• Hold career in:  non-profit, grant writing, financial planning 

Time Commitment:  1-5 hours per week

Support:  Training (including NationBuilder navigation) and toolkits will be provided, as well as access to State Leadership and Forward Staff for ongoing support and collaboration.
