FORWARD VIRGINIA TO HOST FIRESIDE CHAT WITH GOVERNOR CHRISTINE TODD WHITMAN

A Courageous Conversation on Political Reform, Women’s Rights, and the Future of American Democracy

WHAT:
Forward Virginia will host a special Pre-Memorial Day Fireside Chat featuring Christine Todd Whitman, Co-Chair of the Forward Party, former Governor of New Jersey, and former EPA Administrator under President George W. Bush.

Governor Whitman will be joined in conversation by Sophia A. Nelson, Vice Chair of Forward Virginia, best-selling author, journalist, and former member of the Whitman administration.

This timely and courageous dialogue will focus on the urgent need to fix our broken two-party political system and will highlight policies affecting women, immigrants, and racial minorities. The event is part of Forward Virginia’s ongoing “Courageous Conversations” series.
