Forward Party Welcomes Farmville Mayor Brian Vincent to the Movement for Common-Sense Leadership
Farmville, VA — The Forward Party in Virginia is proud to announce that Brian Vincent, Mayor of Farmville, Virginia, has officially become a Forward-affiliated Independent to join our growing coalition of commonsense leaders committed to putting people over party and solutions over ideology.
Mayor Vincent, who has served the Farmville community with integrity and dedication, has long been an advocate for calm, order, and cooperation in public service. A husband, father of two daughters, and a proud small-town leader, Vincent believes in working together to solve problems rather than letting partisanship divide communities.
In a recent address to the Virginia Municipal League Small Towns Conference, Mayor Vincent urged leaders to be “warriors who stand for integrity” and to act as “bulwarks, firewalls, to ideology injected into our local politics.” He reminded his audience that “we are here to serve the public, not to serve an ideology,” and called for extending grace to one another as neighbors and fellow Americans.
“The road to prosperity is not paved by just 70 million people being psyched and 70 million people being disenchanted, and 200 million people going, ‘What’s wrong with everybody?’” Vincent said. “We get there by working together. And we need leaders who speak to all of America.”
Forward Party in Virginia Chair Chris Hessler welcomed the Mayor, saying:
