Short Description

The Initiatives Working Group focuses on advancing the National and Colorado Forward Party Priorities. This can take many forms, from establishing the state party as a state-recognized party, to democracy reform efforts, to working with legislators to pass sensible and effective legislation to benefit Coloradan's lives. If you're interested in advancing the priorities of the Forward Party in your community, this is the Working Group for you!

Current Activities

Minor Party Status

The Initiatives Working Group is laser-focused on getting the Colorado Forward Party recognized as an official party in the state! We will be hosting a significant number of petition-gathering events throughout the end of 2022 and into 2023. The Colorado party needs to acquire 10,000 signatures from registered voters in the state. We are aiming for +15,000 to give us a comfortable cushion in case any signatures are invalidated. We will need all hands on deck to help gather signatures and get folks throughout Colorado excited about the party!
