We need your help. 

 

Chris Hessler, Forward Virginia’s Northern Virginia Coordinator will coordinate Forward’s efforts for distributing flyers at community events and door-to-door and for working outside polling precincts on election day.  It would be great to have a dozen or more volunteers spreading the word about forward candidates each weekend from now until the election.  Weekday volunteers would also be helpful.  Both Arlington and non-Arlington residents are welcome!

If you'd like to work with other Forward volunteers to support candidates in Virginia, fill out the information below, and Chris Hessler will reach out to you shortly. 

NOTE: After you submit, you will receive a follow-up email with a link to sign a Volunteer Pledge and Code of Ethics. You will not be an approved volunteer with full access to all opportunities until you have signed these forms.

You can also get started by following these three steps:

  • Sign up to volunteer on the Your Dashboard - Forward Party website
  • Agree to the volunteer pledge / code of conduct
  • Contact Chris Hessler, Forward Virginia’s Northern Virginia Coordinator.

Step 1:  Sign up to volunteer on the www.forwardparty.com website.  If you have done this already, move to Step 2.  If not, log into Forward’s website.  Then, in the top right corner, click on your account.  You should see a pop-up that has options for your profile, settings, logging out, your dashboard, managing donations, etc.  Click on “Your Dashboard" and see what it says.  You should see buttons to volunteer and/or sign the volunteer pledge.  Click the button to volunteer.

Step 2:  Agree to the volunteer pledge / code of conduct.  If you have done this already, move to Step 3.  If not, then at “Your Dashboard”, agree to the volunteer pledge / code of conduct by clicking the button to do that.  You will be prompted through a couple of steps to complete the pledge, which is a basic agreement to act professionally in your representation of the Forward Party.

Step 3:  Email Chris Hessler at [email protected] to coordinate with him on when and how best you might be able to work with Forward to support our Northern Virginia candidates.
