Dan Rayfield has led significant strides for Oregon as a legal, elected, and community leader. As the Speaker of the Oregon House, Rayfield has worked with members of the Republic Party, Democrat Party, and independents to pass legislation that benefits all of Oregon. He has paved the way for high-quality education for children, access to affordable and reliable healthcare, and supported Oregon’s small businesses, among other issues. Prior to becoming Speaker of the House, Rayfield clerked for the Benton County District Attorney’s office. This formative experience, coupled with his experience as the Speaker of the Oregon House, deeply prepares Rayfield for the responsibilities of Attorney General.
