Dan Osborn is an independent candidate for Senate in Nebraska, running against incumbent Sen. Deb Fischer.  Dan served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years before joining the Nebraska Army National Guard.  Since 2004, he’s been an industrial mechanic and a member of BCTGM 50G, rising to the presidency of his union after many years.  In 2021, he led a successful strike against Kellogg’s over working conditions and worker pay.

He’s running for Senate to help protect small businesses, family farms and ranches, and middle-class jobs.  His experience raising a family as a middle-class union worker is central to his drive to represent his people in Washington.
