Do you enjoy meeting new people and building communities?   Help us grow our network of Forwardists in Nevada by joining the organizing team! 

Purpose: The organizing team is composed of inbound coordinators, outreach coordinators, and event coordinators.  The organizing team is essential in growing the Forward Party of Nevada, by supporting the organization’s imminent objective to obtain ballot access and expand recognition of Forward Party’s core principles:  Free People, Thriving Communities, and Vibrant Democracy.

Location: The organizing team has both remote and in-person opportunities.  In-person sites will vary, contingent on event locations.  

Responsibilities and Activities: 

• Respond to sign-ups on the Forward Nevada page through phone calls and email 
• Onboard new volunteers and identify their level of engagement 
• Identify and collaborate with communities that are aligned with Forward Nevada’s values
• Regularly host events that foster both camaraderie within the organization and civic engagement
• Partner with State Leadership to identify potential leaders

The organizing team is a great fit for those who: 

• Enjoy meeting new people, are enthusiastic about building networks, and are already involved in communities and organizations with aligned values
• Hold a career in:  hospitality, management, administrative work 

Time Commitment: 2-5 hours per week

Support:  Training (including NationBuilder navigation) and toolkits will be provided, as well as access to State Leadership and Forward Staff for ongoing support and collaboration.
