Clint Eisenhauer - Bio

CLINT EISENHAUER

The first 18 years of my career, I worked in advertising and brand building across a broad range of consumer and industrial clients such as Hanes, Champion Athletic Wear, Wachovia Bank, RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company (sports marketing and the Winston brand), Wrangler, Ariens/Gravely Outdoor Power Equipment and CSX Corporation.

In the mid-90s, I joined Sea-Land as Vice President, Marketing and Communications.  In that capacity, I led global marketing initiatives as the industry transitioned through deregulation, consolidation and compression.  I was also the primary media contact and spokesperson for Sea-Land’s various marine-related businesses including ocean terminal operations, logistics and liner freight services.

In 2002, I founded a firm specializing in a full array of commercial consulting: marketing and sales strategy, public relations, crisis response and resilience, and government advocacy.  My clients included participants in the industrial technology, medical, healthcare, automotive and freight transportation sectors.  Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the firm managed significant client representation across the Mid-Atlantic States.

In 2005, the Maersk Group of Copenhagen, Denmark, recruited me to head government affairs in the United States.  Relocating to Washington, DC, I had responsibility for policy and political outreach at the federal and state levels across all of the Group’s business units.  I worked closely with the senior business unit executive team to carefully manage and expand the Group’s interests both in the U.S. and abroad.

In 2016, I joined South Carolina Ports in Charleston, SC as Senior VP of External Affairs, handling government relations, public relations, advertising, and community affairs.

I am now retired and focused on Forward Party organization and voting reform.
