Michael Lambert's Profile

Michael Lambert is running for Davis County Commissioner as the bipartisan, Unaffiliated candidate. He lives in Layton and has a professional background as a licensed clinical social worker, having worked with young people and families throughout his career. Michael cares about issues impacting children, our aging adult population, affordable housing security, mental health, and conservation, including the Great Salt Lake and our air quality. Representation for all of Davis County is important to Michael, and he's excited to be part of the only remaining County Office race that voters will have a choice in this General Election.

Michael believes in the importance of bipartisanship, particularly in the increasingly divisive, partisan political landscape. Though 12 candidates originally filed for the Office of Commissioner, surprisingly only one was nominated by delegates out of the County Convention, leaving even Republican voters without a say in a Primary election among a number of well-respected and moderate conservatives. Michael is encouraged that his unaffiliated campaign will give All voters a choice in the General Election, as opposed to the race being decided before any open or closed-party elections.
