Cameron Craddock Howe is driven by a deep commitment to her community. A lifelong resident and graduate of Lynchburg City Schools and Lynchburg College, Cameron has extensive experience in community development and social services, currently serving as the president of the Greater Lynchburg Transit Company Board. Since her appointment in 2019, she has led initiatives that enhance public transportation accessibility, reflecting her dedication to improving the lives of Lynchburg residents.

Having experienced firsthand the divisive nature of the two-party system, Cameron believes in the importance of collaboration and inclusivity in local governance. Council members beholden to a two-party system instead of the people they represent contribute to the problems facing the community, instead of solving them. She resonates deeply with the Forward Party’s values of pragmatism and community-driven solutions, which align with her own dedication to improving educational opportunities, ensuring public safety, and promoting transparent tax policies.
