Nathan was born, grew up, was educated, married, and raised three children in Los Angeles county. Unlike those who look at what is happening in this county, between crime, homelessness, taxes, traffic, and smog, and are choosing to leave, Nathan chose to stay and fight for the community he loves. The current DA has instituted extreme, pro-criminal policies and taken actions that have decreased safety, destroyed the morale in the DA’s office, abandoned victims and their families, and weakened the DA’s partnership with law enforcement. Nathan is running to remove politics from prosecutorial decisions, restore independence, honesty, and integrity to prevent crime and protect public safety, and ensure justice is served to all LA County residents.

Nathan is running as a registered Independent in this nonpartisan DA race. He believes the DA should be fiercely independent and base decisions on the evidence and law, not on a political agenda like his opponent. Nathan shares many values outlined by the Forward Party, such as respect for the rule of law, upholding ethical standards, and always acting with integrity and compassion. Nathan fully intends to bring these values to the office and much more when he is elected as the next Los Angeles District Attorney.
