Volunteer with us at Hagerstown Pride to help collect petition signatures. We need help both in front of the table to talk with people and behind the table with data entry.

This movement is powered entirely by volunteers just like you. Celebrate Pride and support the Forward Party by helping us show the people of Hagerstown that we care about their voice.

WHO: You! Forward Party volunteers

WHAT: Talking to people OR helping with data entry for petition signatures at Hagerstown Pride.

WHEN: Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 11:00am

WHERE: Doubs Woods Park, Hagerstown, MD

WHY: To collect signatures to make Forward an officially recognized political party in Maryland, and to let our fellow Marylanders know who we are and what we stand for.

We will have a table and tent set up at the festivities in Doubs Woods Park. Setup will begin at 11:00am, and the festival goes from noon to 5:00pm. Volunteers are free to stay for either all or part of it. We will do a debrief at the end and perhaps get a drink together at a local establishment.

Bring your phone, a water bottle, sunscreen, and backup power for your phone. You can pack a lunch if you would like, but we will have snacks and there will also be food vendors at and near the event.

DIRECTIONS: From I-70 westbound, take Exit 29 to MD-65 N (Potomac Street). Drive north, going straight through the intersection with Oak Ridge Drive. The park entrance (shown with the red arrow on the map below) is on the left just after passing E Russell Hicks Middle School.

PARKING: Parking for Pride vendors and volunteers (us!) is at the park entrance off Potomac Street between E Russell Hicks Middle School and Emma K Doub Elementary.
