Senator Rhonda Fields is a prominent figure in Colorado politics, dedicated to advocating for women, families, and our vulnerable communities. She was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives in 2010 and became the first African American elected to the State Senate in 2016. Her work is driven by a commitment to addressing critical issues, including gun violence, and she has successfully passed laws to protect the environment, promote livable wages, and improve our healthcare systems. Senator Fields holds degrees in education and counseling and currently represents Senate District 28. She is running for Arapahoe County Commissioner, District 5, to continue serving her community and making a positive impact.
