Lisa Feret is a former military police women turned social worker. She worked as a veterans counselor while attending Colorado State University and served as a case manager for elderly and disabled people in Colorado. She also spent over a decade working with a veterans organization responding and deploying to natural disasters and humanitarian crisis domestically and internationally. She was elected to Arvada City Council in 2021 and is running for the Colorado House of Representatives in 2024. She has a husband, Eli, who is a fellow veteran and a one year old daughter named Elizabeth.
