George is 63, married with two dogs and one cat. In his thirty seven year United Auto Worker career he held numerous appointed and elected positions. He retired in 2024. Currently, serves in his second term on the Board of Health in Tewksbury where he resides. He also serves as the financial secretary of the Massachusetts UAW CAP Council and is Running for State Representative of Middlesex District 19. Until early 2023 he was a lifelong Truman Democrat. The divisiveness of the past 9 years and lack of bipartisan cooperation left him with no choice but to leave it. Ways to change the system are independent Redistricting commissions, rank choice voting, term limits and the overturning of citizens united v FEC
