Kyle grew up on the Yakama Indian Reservation where his family has lived for countless generations.  After studying finance and working as a financial analyst in Seattle, Kyle returned to Yakima to work in his family’s various businesses including cattle ranching, restaurants, and petroleum and propane distribution companies. 

Kyle has served as a Yakima County Commissioner for two years and has witnessed Yakima County’s challenges and progress firsthand. Kyle initiated plans to tackle crime, provided compassionate aid for homelessness, enhanced mental health and addiction support, and expanded affordable housing.  Leveraging his financial background, he diligently crafted a budget that reflects the community’s needs, fostering impactful change.   

Kyle is a graduate of Leadership Yakima which is a program through the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce that strengthens and educates community leaders by providing participants with in-depth insights into a variety of issues impacting the Yakima Valley.  Through this experience, he spent a year touring the Yakima Valley and learning about various industries, the valley’s history, and quality of life. Kyle’s commitments are strongly  aligned with his Forward Party pledge - to be accessible, transparent, and collaborative.

He remains dedicated to serving his community and is humbled by the trust the voters put in him two years ago.
