As our political divisions continue to grow, it's up to every student at every high school and college to lead the charge toward change, starting with local ordinance and political engagement! This meeting will establish some ways that you can get involved locally, in your state, and nationally.
WEEK 5 (6/26) - Let's Talk: “What is a One-Pager? Why is it helpful?”
Run of Show:

Discuss the uses and necessity of a One-Pager for proposing legislation.

Break into teams and discuss ways to better address our policy problem.

- Election accountability and transparency: Emma, Rowan, and Rydham.
- Accessibility for domestic violence victims: Anaisha, Adi, Jessica, Emma, Shubh, and Nidhi.

GROUP DELIVERABLE DUE BEFORE 6/26:
- Begin formatting your policy proposal into bill format. Attached to this email is a proposal example and on pages 6 to 8 is the bill format we are looking for. This is similar to a YAG bill with definitions as the first section etc. Have a bill draft ready by 6/26.
