Dan Almoney is a dedicated community member. Despite facing challenges and job upheavals, his life is anchored by family and faith. Born and raised in York County, Dan was active in activities like Boy Scouts and theater, graduating in the top 25 from Northeastern School District in 1996. He earned his broadcast journalism degree magna cum laude from Lock Haven University in 2000, where he met his wife Michelle. After working at a local TV station, Dan co-founded a video production company, allowing him to spend time with his newborn daughter and engage with York County. Later, he returned to the workforce to support his wife’s nursing career and continues as a communications professional. In 2022, Dan ran for state representative to challenge the longtime incumbent representative. Dan and his family reside in northern York County, where he continues to advocate for his community.
