Hunterdon County has held a special place in Dan's heart since his youth. Its unique characteristics and charm were so compelling, that he and his then fiancé Micki moved to Flemington over forty years ago. In Franklin Township, Hunterdon County they raised three children in the township's bucolic surroundings. The children all received an excellent education in the local schools and have blossomed into thriving adults. For the forty plus years Dan has lived in Hunterdon he has been involved in the community. It was his pleasure to serve on the Franklin Township Committee. Dan worked with and participated on many community boards, often serving as chair.

With recent elections, Dan sees a concerning shift away from the practical and popular ideals that resonate with our country's political center.  Dan believes our government should be transparent, unifying and our representatives should be accessible. A good government should be prioritizing practical nonpolitical solutions for the wellness of our nation.
