Angela Talarzyk is a TVUSD parent with a career spanning 16 years at the intersection of social work and education. As an educator, social worker, and mental health expert, she brings a wealth of experience in supporting students, families, and educators. Her background and experience have provided her with the necessary skills to foster collaboration, partnerships, and trust among various stakeholders such as educators, administrators, parents, and students.

In her role as a school social worker, Angela confronts sensitive and heartbreaking situations daily, recognizing the evolving threats our children face. She is committed to being a problem-solver and ensuring our schools are adequately equipped when addressing these modern challenges.

Angela was raised in a conservative Republican household, and as an adult she has become a more liberal Democrat. However, having family and friends on all sides of the political spectrum she understands that no party is perfect, and everyone is just trying to do their best. Joining the Forward Party is less of an ideological change, and more of a desire to change how the country views politics and politicians.
