Welcome to the Young Forwardists' volunteer signup page! This is the landing spot for volunteering within our movement. To get involved, select your preferred job to the right to signal your interest. We will shortly be in touch once we've seen your input, and team leaders of the respective groups will get you set up. You are officially a Young Forwardists volunteer once you've completed the appropriate onboarding tasks as designated by your team leader. If you have received prior contact from a Young Forwardists team leader, ignore this step. Additionally, our day-to-day communication is done within the app Slack, so we encourage prospective volunteers to create an account prior to their onboarding conversation in order to ease the signup process. We hope to see you volunteer and enact change in your community!
About Chase's Campaign:
Chase's campaign is focused on retaining the next generation of great leaders right here in the Wabash Valley, Indiana. Right now, those under the age of 30 feel unheard and underrepresented. Because of this, we lose a large percentage of our graduating high school and college students every year. Out of the 300 students from Chase's high school graduating class who attended college or trade school after graduation, only 5 intend to return to the County. Chase's campaign focuses on incentivizing the growth of his community by prioritizing investment in this youth community, increasing the availability of college degree-requiring jobs, and improving or upgrading the resources that our primary schools students are given access to.
