Forward Party to Host Labor Day Fireside Chat with Political Director Kayla Berube
Richmond, VA — The Forward Party of Virginia will host a special Fireside Chat over Labor Day weekend featuring Kayla Berube, Political Director of the Forward Party National, in conversation with Sophia A. Nelson, Esq., Vice Chair of Communications for the Forward Party of Virginia.
Berube, a nationally recognized strategist with more than 15 years of experience leading grassroots political campaigns, will share her vision for building the Forward Party into a viable national movement heading into the pivotal 2026 election cycle. She will discuss the Party’s plans for candidate recruitment, ballot access, and state party development—highlighting why a credible third-party option is more urgent than ever for American democracy.

Before joining Forward, Berube served as Executive Director of the Hawaii GOP and held senior roles on multiple state and federal campaigns, including Patrick Morrisey’s successful run for Attorney General in West Virginia. She also led ballot access operations in New Hampshire and Illinois for Governor Scott Walker’s presidential campaign. In addition, Berube has advised national advocacy groups on data modeling, voter targeting, and PAC strategy through her work at i360, Tunnl Data, and a leading trade association.
The Labor Day event is pre-recorded and will explore how Forward plans to expand beyond the two-party system, engage disaffected voters, and offer common-sense solutions to America’s most pressing challenges.
