Carla Litrenta is running for State House in South Carolina's 66th.
Carla Litrenta's Profile

Carla Litrenta is a moderate candidate running to represent SC House District 66.

Carla grew up on Republican values but does not see those values reflected widely across Republican leadership today. She believes all elected officials should represent their people far and above their party, and is running as a moderate Democrat to do just that.

Carla is an attorney, a mother, a wife, and a proud resident of Fort Mill. Carla graduated from Virginia Tech University with a degree in Political Science, French, and Spanish, and can be found most Saturdays in the Fall cheering on her Hokies.

At her father’s encouragement, she went on to pursue a law degree from Barry University School of Law where she met her husband Mike. Together, they moved to the area after falling in love with Fort Mill and are raising their sons, Luca and Nico in Baxter Village.

Carla is a proud former civil servant and worked for seven years as a government attorney prosecuting criminal offenders and providing a voice to countless victims. She is a member of three state bar organizations including North and South Carolina. Carla comes from a family of small business owners and currently runs her own local law firm.

Carla is passionate about making sure local voices are heard in Columbia. She will focus her campaign on common sense legislation that she and most South Carolinians and Americans want. Carla is not your typical party-line politician. She believes in democracy and wants to see policy built for and by the people.

As an active member in her community, Carla recognizes that most normal, everyday people live somewhere in the middle of the Red/Blue extremes we see on our screens every day. When she gets elected, she will be a voice for all who feel drowned out by the noise of party-line pundits and politicians, click-bait news and internet trolls.

As a seasoned attorney, Carla is more than capable of reaching past party lines and successfully negotiating for common sense progress to protect our families and our futures.
